THE East Riding of Yorkshire Council area is set to become the first in the region to launch walking cricket.
Following on from the successes of walking netball and walking football in the region, it aims to help people over the age of 50 be introduced to the sport.
The first of six sessions, which are being led by local sports coach Dominic Rhodes, begins on Monday April 3 at 1pm at the East Riding Leisure Haltemprice.
