TWO men have been arrested after a police chase which ended in York.
North Yorkshire Police said officers tried to stop a car on the A64 at 11.10pm yesterday for having no insurance, but it initially failed to pull over.
Police used tactical pursuit and containment techniques to stop the car in Blossom Street.
A spokesperson for the force said: "A 57-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop, driving otherwise in accordance with a licence and driving without insurance. He currently remains in police custody.
"The 21-year-old male passenger was also found to be wanted on suspicion of burglary by West Yorkshire Police."
