They are now two points clear of Barmby Moor and three clear of Strensall, with the latter enjoying a game in hand.

Huntington Rovers continued their pursuit of the Reserve A title with a 6-0 defeat of Copmanthorpe which moves them to within six points of leaders Dunnington with six games in hand.

Goals from Ash Hill and Paul Scaife gave Rovers a 2-0 half-time lead, while further strikes from Rhidian Mansfield, Kieran Flanagan and Lee Bunce, along with a Pete Laidlaw penalty, added to the scoreline.

Malton & Norton leapfrogged Thorpe United into fourth place with a 3-0 win over their rivals. Curtis Pickering, Jamie Allen and Kingsley Daffern grabbed their goals.

Pocklington Town virtually assured themselves of promotion from Reserve B with a 4-3 with a 4-3 win at Osbaldwick.

It would now take a disaster of titanic proportions to deny them a spot in the upper tier due to their far superior goal difference. Three points from their final two games will assure them of the title.

Osbaldwick's three goals came courtesy of a Tom Young hat-trick – Young being their regular first-team goalkeeper.

Heworth enjoy four games in hand on RI with the goal difference between the teams very evenly matched.

Bailey Smurthwaite and Callum Ransome bagged for Cliffe as they suffered a 4-2 loss at Selby Olympia.
