A NORTH Yorkshire firm of solicitors is leaving a national lawyer group to return to its roots.
Burn & Co was part of the launch of the QualitySolicitors network seven years ago. Now it is leaving the network and will again become a local family firm in its York and Easingwold offices.
Director Graeme Burn said: “The time feels right to go back to our roots and our core values – as a friendly, local, family firm with strong links to the community.”
Managing director Claire Rutter said: “Clients will not notice a difference – apart from us replacing the QS name and branding of course. My colleagues and I are very excited to be regaining our separate identity.”
The firm, which Raymond Burn started in Lendal, York, 37 years ago, and now includes his sons Mark and Graeme, specialises in conveyancing, family law, commercial and corporate matters and private client work.
