THERE will be a free screening of I, Daniel Blake in York next week.
The critically acclaimed film will be shown at Tang Hall Community Centre at 7pm on Friday, March 31.
The event has been organised by Unite Community.
A spokesman for the group said: “This will be a free screening for local residents and Unite members so please do come along to this great evening which will also have information on what Unite Community are doing in York and how to appeal sanctions.”
The acclaimed Ken Loach film features a man who is denied employment and support allowance despite his doctor finding him unfit to work.
