LOOKING at the picture of the passing-out parade of the Specials (The Press, March 18), I noticed the two people either side.
Police officers with their service ribbons and medals on their uniforms is a rare thing not often seen these days.
In the past I remember well on the Military Sundays and other such occasions in York, people would be flying their colours for their service in the army. You do not see that so much these days.
