A LORRY driver had a lucky escape after a three-vehicle crash in North Yorkshire.
The accident happened on the A168 southbound on the approach to the A1M at Dishforth on Wednesday.
Emergency services were called to the collision at just after 7.15am. It involved a lorry, a white Ford Transit and a black Hyundai.
Remarkably the accident only resulted in a minor injury.
Sgt Paul Cording of North Yorkshire Police wrote on Twitter: "3 vehicle RTC on #A168 earlier. Incredibly lucky only minor injury, it could have been a whole lot worse!! (Look at that pipe tube carrier)!"
