PUPILS will come together next week for a Red Nose Day extravaganza.
Magicians, BMX riders and football stars will perform for youngsters at York Barbican on March 22.
The day will see pupils from across the city’s primary schools pack into the venue to help raise money.
John Hattam, a community outreach worker at Clifton Green Primary School, said: “We can have fun together, share a laugh with each other and also raise money for a great charity.”
Teachers are also being encourage to swallow their pride and be covered in gunge for the worthy cause.
Companies including Vital York, Quartz Travel, Energy Trampolining and Elementary Technology have all helped sponsor the big day.
