YORK City Supporters’ Trust want candidates to put themselves forward for election on to the body’s board.
The Trust are looking to appoint new directors during a special general meeting and open forum that will be hosted by BBC Look North’s Phil Bodmer on Monday, March 27 at Burton Stone Lane WMC from 7.30pm.
Anybody interested will need to be a current Trust member and be proposed and seconded by fellow Trust members.
Nomination forms can be requested by emailing info@ycst.org.uk, while Trust and non-Trust members will be welcome on the night.
John Uttley, meanwhile, has resigned from the Trust board after more than a year of service.
Thanking Uttley for his efforts, Trust chairman John Lacy said: “John, often controversial, was always strongly committed to supporting and strengthening the Trust at a time when we were struggling with falling membership and a lack of interest.
“Along with others, he has helped revive our flagging fortunes. I know that John will continue to support York City and the Trust and wish him well for the future.”
