A PLAY written by Sandi Toksvig will be performed at York Theatre Royal this month.
Silver Lining tells of five female senior citizens who recreate The Great Escape, breaking out of the Silver Retirement Home as storm floods rise.
The cast features Rachel Davies, Keziah Josephs, Maggie McCarthy, Joanna Monro, Sheila Reid, Amanda Walker, and Theo Toksvig-Stewart in his professional stage debut. The show runs at York Theatre Royal from March 28 to April 1, with matinees on Thursday and Saturday. Tickets cost from £14 and are available at the box office.
