Lendal Bridge was closed after the man was found
A MAN found with serious head injuries in York remains in hospital.
North Yorkshire Police closed off Lendal Bridge on Friday, February 17, after the 25-year-old man was found in Dame Judi Dench Walk in the early hours.
The man, believed to be from London, was rushed to Leeds General Infirmary.
A police spokeswoman said on Tuesday “the man remains in hospital and his condition is described as very poorly”.
Police said the investigation into the incident was ongoing, but there were not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
