AFTER yet more whining letters about Brexit from the usual Remainer subjects, particularly the Lib Dems, I’ve finally worked out what their problem is.

They are obviously suffering from Stockholm Syndrome, a condition where hostages develop a psychological bond their oppressors as a coping mechanism after repeated threats and intimidation cause them to feel powerless.

In their case, the captors are the bullying, corrupt EU, and after 40 years of being told what to do by Brussels on every nit-picking subject under the sun they have become so institutionalised that when freedom finally beckons they haven’t the self-respect to break away.

I am a great one for self-help from such books as Windows 7 For Dummies and I’m sure there must be one called Stockholm Syndrome For Dummies, which should ease their suffering.
