A DRIVER has suffered suspected pelvic injuries after a crash between three vehicles.
Emergency services were called to the collision in Harrogate Road, between Poole in Wharfedale and Huby, near Harrogate, at about 7.10pm yesterday. It involved a BMW, Audi and a Ford Focus.
The male driver of the Ford was trapped in the car and had to be freed by firefighters using hydraulic cutting gear.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "He has been released and taken to hospital with suspected pelvic injuries.
"The male drivers of the BMW and Audi were not trapped but were taken to hospital for precautionary check-ups."
The road was closed while emergency services and the Highways Agency dealt with the collision. It reopened at around 1am.
