Lorry crashes on A1 - UPDATED
THE A1 southbound has reopened after a lorry crashed through the central barrier and landed on its side this morning.
Emergency services were called to the collision, near Catterick, shortly after 6am.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "One HGV crossed the central barrier and landed on its side.
"The driver was checked at the scene, not injured."
The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the crash.
