THE York charity SASH will be holding its annual Sleepout event at Tang Hall Community Centre on March 10 to raise funds for its work in preventing hundreds of young people from becoming homeless.
More than 40 people have already got sponsorship to spend the night out under the stars, with just a sleeping bag and cardboard to shelter them from the elements - whatever the weather.The event will feature live music by York Glee Singers, a ‘cardboard shelter’ competition, films about SASH’s work and breakfast in the morning.
