UPDATED: North Yorkshire Police have just confirmed Elizabeth has been found safe and well.
--------------------------------------
POLICE have appealed for help finding a missing 89-year-old woman.
North Yorkshire Police said Elizabeth Costar went missing from her home in Harlow Manor Park, Harrogate yesterday at 7.30pm, and is believed to be with her chocolate-coloured poodle, Coco.
Ms Costar is 5ft 4ins tall, of medium build with greying hair. She usually wears a black hat, a purple and black check waist-length coat and may have a black handbag and walking stick with her.
A police spokeswoman said they could still be in the Harlow Manor Park area although may have taken public transport elsewhere.
Anyone who has seen a woman or dog matching Elizabeth or Coco’s description should phone North Yorkshire Police on 101 and pass information to the Force Control Room.
