ACOMB Optometrist Ruth Perrott has been shortlisted for the prestigious Optometrist of the Year category in the national ‘Optician’ magazine awards.
Ruth, of VisionCare Optometry, has been recognized for using her skills and ‘going the extra mile’ to enhance peoples’ lives.
She has also been travelling to remote parts of Africa for the past 25 years to offer her services to people unable to access proper eye care.
She will attend a glittering awards ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole in April.
