PEOPLE in York and the surrounding area have been asked to support Marie Curie’s Great Daffodil Appeal.
The charity, which provides care and support for people living with any terminal illness, is urging people to buy and wear a daffodil pin during the March campaign.
Jennifer Carmichael, community fundraiser at Marie Curie, said: “We are calling on the people of York to help us make every daffodil count this year. All you have to do is encourage people to give a donation and wear a daffodil pin, it’s that simple.”
Marie Curie is looking for volunteers to help collect with its biggest fundraising drive. For more information contact Jennifer on 01904 755260 or email jennifer.carmichael@mariecurie.org.uk
