Police in Selby are asking for the public's help in their investigations into four incidents this week:
1 - Thieves broke into a vehicle parked in Germain Close, Selby, overnight on Tuesday and stole items including a tool carrier, a cordless drill and cash. Anyone who saw anything suspicious, or who has been offered similar items for sale should phone 101, quoting reference 12170026478.
2 - Vandals damaged a gate, lock and bench at the Cunliffe Centre, overnight on Tuesday. They damaged part of the fire exit. Anyone who witnessed suspicious activity or has information should phone 101, quoting reference 12170026844.
3 - Also overnight on Tuesday, thieves broke into a car parked in a driveway outside a house in Mulberry Close, and stole various items.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious or has information which could help police should phone 101, quoting reference 12170026406.
4 - Police are still seeking the owner of the above car. The green Subaru was found abandoned in a field in Gateforth, near Selby, on Wednesday. Police say it had no insurance or registered keeper.
