THIEVES broke into two public houses in rural North Yorkshire this week.
The Blacksmith’s Arms in Lastingham and the Coach House in nearby Rosedale Abbey were both targeted overnight on Monday.
Cash was stolen from both, and a charity box, wine and spirits were also taken from the Coach House.
Forensic investigations have taken place at both pubs, and officers have appealed for more information from the public.
Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious, has any information, or has been offered wine and spirits for sale should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101.
