York's free Sunday bus service extended
A FREE Sunday bus service in York is to run for another two months.
First Bus started running the free 500 service on Sundays in December, to connect Foxwood, Woodthorpe and Bishopthorpe to Askham Bar Park & Ride, where people could pick up regular buses into the city centre.
Changes made by the city council earlier in 2016 had left the areas without a Sunday bus service.
The initial trial period has already been extended once, and now First Bus have announced the route will run until March 26 while they assess demand for the service.
