THREE people have been taken to hospital after a crash between four vehicles on a major road in North Yorkshire.
Emergency services were called to the collision on the A59 at the junction with the B6451, near Harrogate, at about 8.45pm yesterday.
One person was trapped in one of the vehicles and was freed by firefighters.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said one person was taken to hospital after suffering "non-life threatening injuries" and two people were taken to hospital for precautionary checks.
