A CYCLIST has been seriously injured in a crash in York this afternoon.
North Yorkshire Police said emergency services have been called to a crash in Green Lane, Clifton.
A spokeswoman said the force was called at 4.23pm, to reports of a female cyclist who had suffered serious injuries in a crash with a car.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the cyclist's leg was trapped under the vehicle.
In a tweet, they said:
