Holgate Windmill announces first open days of 2017
Holgate Windmill will open for the first time this year to visitors when it offers free visits to York residents on January 28 and 29 between 11am and 4pm.
The working restored windmill, off Acomb Road, York, also sells flours made on the premises and gifts on Saturdays between 10am and 12pm. It is the country’s oldest five-sailed windmill.
