Appeal: Gifts wanted for elderly patients at York Hospital
AN APPEAL for donations of gifts for elderly patients at York Hospital has been halted after meeting with an overwhelming response.
Maxine Wade, who works at the hospital, organised the appeal for gifts to present to elderly patients on Christmas Day.
She said huge numbers of presents had been donated following coverage in The Press, and there was now no storage space left.
