A WOMAN has been charged over the crash that left York pantomime star Martin Barrass with serious injuries.
The 61-year-old from Skipton is due to appear at Northallerton Magistrates Court on January 4, charged with driving without due care and attention.
Mr Barrass was riding his motorbike when it and a Vauxhall Astra car collided in Newbridge Lane, Halton East, Skipton, at about 3pm on September 10.
Mr Barrass suffered 17 broken ribs and his heart stopped for five minutes, but he told The Press earlier this week of his recovery and he plans to return to the stage in February.
