YET again we have been subjected to more anti-car views from Paul Hepworth (Letters, November 28).

He seems to think the world revolves round nobody else but cyclists and that they can do no wrong.

We only need to look at his previous letter when he tried to twist round the blame for cyclists on pavements on motorists.

While I agree that motorists are far from perfect, his conception of ignorant cyclists is not a small minority but in fact is a large majority.

As for the latest proposals for the A1237, I have never seen such a waste of money to enlarge the remaining roundabouts.

This will not even paper over the cracks.

Transport in this country needs billions spending on it because it has failed to keep up with the massive increase of our population, especially over the past few years.

This should include the full dualling of the A1237 with grade separated junctions, and you would get underpasses for cyclists automatically.
