PUPILS at Pickering Infant School got to grips with a variety of problem-solving activities as part of a puzzle day.
Headteacher Sarah Gillam said: "Resilience is an important life skill, which is important for children to develop at an early age.
"To support children with this we spend a lot of time in school supporting children in developing as independent learners who can problem solve and co-operate because working with others is an important part of this too."
"Our Happy Puzzle Company Puzzle Workshop was a great opportunity for children to work collaboratively on a range of problem solving activities, developing resilience."
