ANYONE wanting to help organise this year's Xmas Presence event in York is invited to a planning meeting on Wednesday evening.
Following the success of a similar event last year, this year's Xmas Presence is being held in Poppleton on Christmas Day, to help make Christmas special for people who would otherwise face Christmas alone.
There is a preparation meeting at Poppleton Community Centre at 7.30pm on Wednesday, to help fine-tune the plans and assign some roles.
Organiser Ian Donaghy said: "We'd love to see people from last year who were instrumental in our success & also new people who realised what they missed or just want to help make a difference."
