POLICE are warning residents to keep their properties locked and secure at all times after homes were broken into in Osbaldwick, Heworth and Stockton-on-the-Forest.
Burglars targeted the homes on Friday night and Saturday morning, leading police to issue the advice.
Officers are urging people to keep all properties, including houses, garages and sheds locked and keep valuables and belongings out of sight.
Anyone with information about the burglaries should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101.
