2 rescued from boat in Selby
TWO people had to be rescued from their boat by firefighters in Selby.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene on the River Ouse at about 11pm on Saturday after the narrow boat’s engine failed.
Crews from Selby and Malton fire stations quickly arrived at the scene to help the stricken pair to safety and secured the boat.
