Motorists warned of works next week on busy York road
TEMPORARY traffic lights will be installed on Holgate Road next week as ageing gas pipes are replaced under the road.
The lights will be close to the iron bridge, opposite the junction with Holgate Bridge Gardens. The pedestrian crossing will be temporarily out of use.
Northern Gas Networks (NGN) is investing around £25,000 in the project, and around 190m of plastic pipes will be installed in the area.
