FIRE crews were called to a burning car in North Yorkshire in the early hours of Saturday.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said a Whitby crew was called to Dundas Gardens just before 3am.
The spokesman said a Honda Prelude suffered 60 per cent fire damage in the blaze, before the crew managed to extinguish the fire.
Firefighters used one hose and two sets of breathing apparatus to tackle the fire, which believed to have been started deliberately.
