A YORK restaurant has been awarded the three AA Rosette Award for Culinary Excellence.
Hudson’s restaurant at The Grand Hotel & Spa, already had two AA Rosettes, but was awarded its new status at a ceremony in London on Monday, which takes it into the top ten per cent of restaurants taking part in the scheme.
Head Chef, Craig Atchinson, said: “Gaining three AA Rosette status has been an ambition and focus of ours as a team and we have been committed to raising the standards of all of our dishes to ensure the very best for our diners – something this award acknowledges.
The hard work doesn’t end here though. We treat each of our diners as if they are AA Inspectors and strive to make sure that every dish we send out is of the highest quality.”
The awards are given following unannounced visits to the restaurant.
