THE next York Job Fair will be held in the city this week.
The event will be held at the York Railway Institute in Queens Street on Friday, September 30, between 10am and 3pm, and is supported by City of York Council and Job Centre Plus.
More than 70 organisations will be on hand to offer training and job opportunities, as well as workshops on CV writing skills and completing job applications.
Councillor Keith Aspden, Council deputy leader of City of York Council, said: “I’d urge anyone to go along and check out what’s on offer on Friday.
“Opportunities include live vacancies at every level, full and part-time positions, and apprenticeships targeting 16-24 year olds.”
