A CONFERENCE featuring talks about the Yorkshire Wolds will be held in a village in East Yorkshire next month.
‘The Yorkshire Wolds Landscape: Past, Present and Future’ will take place on October 9, 10am to 4pm, at the Wolds Heritage Centre, in Warter, near Pocklington.
It will feature talks on the geology of the Wolds, their archaeology and ecology as well as farms and farming.
The conference is hosted by PLACE, a research centre dedicated to the Yorkshire landscape and supported by York St John University. Entry costs £10. To book, phone Richard Myerscough on 01262 672711 by September 30.
