AN 11-year-old boy was hit by a van in Selby on Monday.
The incident happened in Gowthorpe at about 3.40pm on Monday, and involved a silver Volkswagen Transporter.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said the boy had "no visible injuries but was taken to hospital for a check up".
Anyone who saw the collision should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 12160170915.
