A DRIVER was taken to hospital with a head injury after a single vehicle crash on the outer ring road in York yesterday.
The collision, involving a red Volkswagen Golf, happened on the A1237, near Knapton, at about 6pm. The road was partially closed until about 7.15pm.
The car left the carriageway and ended up on a grass verge on its roof.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said: "There are reports that it rolled over several times."
The male driver, 29, was taken to hospital by ambulance with a non-life-threatening head injury.
Witnesses are asked to call North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 1, and speak to Force Control Room, quoting NYP-25082016-0392.
