FURTHER to my published letter of last week, it is good to see some response from readers on the thorny subject of the closure of Archways.
In particular, I am pleased to read the excellent letter from Rachael Maskell, our York Central MP, who has taken up the cause (The Press, August 23).
I myself have contacted the Prime Minister by email. Please, when you read this, think about following suit.
It is easy to do and could make the world of difference.
Remember we will all be old one day and it could be you needing after-care following a hospital stay.
Sadly those who do not read The Press may not be aware of this proposed closure, so spread the word... and let us thank The Press for not only being informative, but giving us a voice.
Better still, start taking it regularly.
