A YORK legal firm has launched an innovative online photography competition for its chosen charity Zoë’s Place.
Hethertons Solicitors wants residents to take a picture featuring a specially made ‘bag for life’ being distributed from its offices in Tudor Court, Opus Avenue, York Business Park and 1 St James Square in Boroughbridge.
Once taken, the photos can be uploaded to Twitter with the firm’s handle @HethertonsLegal for a chance to win £500 in cash.
The winner will be based on what staff at Hethertons consider to be the most unusual and interesting location within the photo.
For each bag collected from their offices Hethertons will donate 5p to Zoë’s Place, a specialist hospice providing palliative, respite and end-of-life care to babies and infants aged up to five with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.
The competition will run until December 5, with the winner announced on December 10.
