A TEACHER has been sacked from a North Yorkshire high school after allegations were made about his conduct.
The male teacher worked at Barlby High School near Selby, and faced a misconduct hearing earlier this month.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire County Council said an internal investigation had been completed, and the member of staff had been dismissed.
He said: “The school takes its responsibilities towards the safety of its students and staff very seriously, and has robust procedures in place for dealing with matters of misconduct.”
There is currently no criminal investigation into the matter, North Yorkshire Police said.
