A PEDESTRIAN suffered serious injuries when he was hit by a car in York.
North Yorkshire Police said the man was hit by a small black car in The Stonebow at about 11.10am on Sunday, and suffered serious injuries to his legs and required hospital treatment. He has since been discharged from hospital.
A police spokeswoman said a vehicle matching the car's description was stopped and the driver has been spoken to, but officers want to speak to anyone who saw the incident or a similar vehicle in the area.
