TWO people have been arrested in York on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class B drugs.
North Yorkshire Police executed a drugs warrant at Lady Mill Garth in Clifton on Sunday and made two arrests.
A 30-year-old local man and a-25 year-old local woman were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug.
Both have been released on bail. Police seized money and cannabis from the property.
Sgt Colin Sutherland of North Yorkshire Police said: "This is just one aspect of ongoing operations by the York North Safer Neighbourhood Team, to target those who adversely affect the quality of life for those who live in the Clifton area of York.
"We will work tirelessly to ensure that criminals cannot operate in the community and appeal to residents that if they have any information they would like to share with us, dial 101 and speak to the Force Control Room. Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111."
