A WOMAN has been arrested after a van fire in York.
North Yorkshire Police were called to reports of smoke inside a red Citroen Dispatch van parked in Crichton Avenue at about 12.45am on Wednesday.
A spokesman said the fire was not serious and was out on arrival, but some smoke and fire damaged had been caused to the van.
A 23-year-old woman of no fixed address was arrested at the scene for committing a breach of the peace and on suspicion of arson.
She remains in custody at this time.
