THIS is one of the stunning period costumes made by York's Northern College of Costume.
The eight students behind the costumes have just completed a four month intensive training course at the college.
Costumes - including a 1940s Hollywood inspired evening gown and Victorian dresses - will be on display at the college at 26 Market Street, York on Friday from 2pm to 8pm and Saturday from 11am to 4pm.
Graduates of the college are currently creating costumes for productions and companies as diverse as Manchester Royal Exchange, Leeds Opera North, The Globe Theatre, the BBC, Outlander and Game of Thrones.
