STAMFORD Bridge and Sheriff Hutton Bridge are getting their feet under the table in the Yorkshire Premier League North.

Victories over Dunnington and Castleford respectively last weekend in their first starts in the top flight see them hot on the heels of leaders York who managed to pick up points from the opening day of the season when most of the other teams in the league were unable to start due to the weather.

Matt Beckett's Stamford Bridge side travel to York tomorrow in buoyant mood. All rounder Alex McQueen was outstanding against Dunnington, he made 94 in an impressive total of 276 and claimed 4-21 and will be relishing the opportunity to impress at York. Donovan Sinclair also showed he is back in the groove with Stamford Bridge after a seven year absence from the club opening up with an unbeaten 65.

York remain the team to shoot at following a comprehensive 109 run win over Woodhouse Grange. It will be interesting to see who will emerge as top all rounder tomorrow, McQueen or York's Ryan McKendry who had figures of 81 and 3-31 last Saturday.

Sheriff Hutton Bridge will be aiming to build on their opening win of the season when they come up against former Senior League foes Woodhouse Grange. Karl Carver, a new arrival at Moor Farm from Yorkshire Academy, made his mark with bat and ball last Saturday. Woodhouse Grange will equally be seeking to get their batting going after a swift capitulation at home to York.

Dunnington will be seeking to get off the mark as they welcome Yorkshire Academy to Common Road. They will look forward to testing themselves against the county's young guns.

Acomb are seeking their first points on a trip to Driffield.

A highlight of the Hunters York and District Senior League will be a second attempt to host a match at Bolton Percy which was entirely flooded earlier this year. They try again tomorrow when Studley Royal are the visitors.

Andy Parkinson will be hoping to build on his 90 last week in Clifton Alliance's five wicket win over York Seconds when Driffield Town Seconds arrive tomorrow.

Easingwold who opened with a draw against Sessay head to Goole Town tomorrow.

York Seconds are involved in an all York contest with Heworth while Pickering who earned a good win against Goole Town travel to Hull Zingari. Sessay entertain Beverley Town.

In Division One Malton and Norton who opened with a convincing 72 run over Bridlington will be looking for a second win at Folkton and Flixton who opened with a draw against Osbaldwick. Selby travel to Beverley Town Seconds.
