MY TENT OR YOURS can make the most of Annie Power's absence by landing the Betdaq Punchestown Champion Hurdle, the feature event on the fourth day of the Festival.

Nicky Henderson's charge found Annie Power far too good at both Cheltenham and Aintree and while Willie Mullins is still represented by Vroum Vroum Mag and Sempre Medici, it is the master of Seven Barrows who can have the last laugh this time.

My Tent Or Yours was beaten four and a half lengths by Annie Power at Cheltenham – yet that was still an incredible run, given he had not raced in nearly two years and arrived with just a handful of racecourse gallops as his prep.

He understandably got a bit tired up the Cheltenham hill that day and Henderson was keen for another crack at Mullins' star at Aintree.

However, given that two miles at Cheltenham appears to be at the higher end of My Tent Or Yours' stamina limitations, it was little surprise to see two-and-a-half miles on Merseyside was beyond him.

Beaten 18 lengths that day, My Tent Or Yours did not help himself by refusing to settle. But at least he shrugged off any fears about the 'bounce factor' and he certainly sets the standard as today's nap selection under Barry Geraghty in this Grade One heat.

JER'S GIRL can make full use of her mares' allowance in the Tattersalls Ireland Champion Novice Hurdle, with Geraghty again taking the reins.

Gavin Cromwell's inmate gets a handy 7lb pull and, after her recent Grade One triumph in mares-only company, her confidence should be riding high as she tackles the boys again.

Her previous two efforts in open company at Leopardstown failed to yield a win but her head defeat at the hands of Apple's Jade now reads particularly well, given that rival's subsequent victory at Aintree.

Meanwhile, it is a quiet start to a Classic weekend in Britain – with average fare on the level and over jumps – although COMPETENT certainly merits an interest in the HBJ Handicap at Musselburgh.

The four-year-old has yet to strike in seven career starts but will at least have race fitness on his side following three fair runs on the all-weather in 2016.

He has hit the frame on each of those starts, most recently when third behind Gabrial The Terror at Wolverhampton last month.

That was another solid effort and his lack of success means the handicapper has been unable to move him from his attractive perch of 68.

HENLEY was beaten just a length at Pontefract earlier this month and must be on the shortlist for the Weatherbys Private Bank Handicap.

He has also yet to record a win but his most recent effort represented an improved performance and perhaps his recent switch to Tracy Waggott's yard can see him shed his maiden tag.

LEWISHAM has been hiked 10lb for a win at Nottingham earlier this month but he could still be a force to be reckoned with in the Dribuild Dash Veterans' Handicap at Chepstow.

Now a six-year-old, he impressed with a six-length verdict last time and can make a similarly favourable impression here.

BANISH can put his recent race experience to good use in the Happy Birthday Elaine Cook Maiden Stakes at Lingfield.

He looked very green and in need of the run when beaten just half a length by Dommersen in a similar event and it will be a surprise if he has not come forward from that.

MERE ANARCHY is the pick in the Weatherbys Hamilton Handicap Hurdle at Bangor, while MONEY TALKS looks the one in the Coastal Wall Ties Handicap Chase at Fontwell.
