A NEW attraction is opening in York which will challenge people to escape from a "locked room" by using their wits and skills.
"Can You Escape?" is described as an "interactive room escape game", and will soon be opening its latest venue at 13-15 Micklegate.
The company got planning permission for its new location from City of York Council earlier in March.
The chain first opened their doors in Edinburgh in October 2014. The company's director Alastair Watson said: “It’s a really exciting opportunity for us, we can’t wait to open our doors to the public in May. We’ve seen the business grow from strength to strength in Edinburgh and we’re excited to get started in York.”
The new York venue will be made up of four games rooms that will hold teams of up to five people in each.
Can You Escape? follows GR8Escape, a live escape room which opened on Colliergate in the city centre last year.
Bookings for Can You Escape? will be open from mid of April.
