CHARITY workers in York are trying to trace the owner of photographs that were found in a piece of donated furniture in one of their shops.
Charlotte Foster bought a cabinet from the St Leonard's Hospice shop in Ousegate in Selby last month.
Inside it, she found a collection of photographs and hospice staff now want to reunite them with their rightful owner, or relatives.
Names on the photos include: Johnny Johnson, Ron Johnson, Gladys Gledhill, Herbert Laycock, Alice Laycock and Mrs S Blakely.
There is also reference to Seacroft in Leeds. The pictures date from around 1940 to 1960.
