THOUSANDS were given a stunning view of the Red Arrows this morning, as they flew over York.

The team passed over East Yorkshire and York on their way to RAF Linton-on-Ouse, then passed over Boroughbridge and Tadcaster, as well as the A19 between York and Selby, on their way back south.

The legendary RAF display team was carrying out a training exercise, and enthusiasts were allowed to watch at RAF Linton-on-Ouse.
